FIRE, FLOOD, EARTHQUAKE & TSUNAMI

EVACUATION PROCEDURES

 

Our evacuation point is at the front carpark, Please make yourself aware of its location during your stay

 

Please be advised that ALL communal kitchens have fire extinguishers and at the end of all accommodation blocks we have fire hoses, All kitchens and BBQ’s have fire blankets and the block at the rear of the park has a defibrillator . These are to be used in an emergency only.

 

FIRE:  Should you discover a fire please call 111 and make your way to the EVACUATION POINT. Please leave your belongings behind and make sure that everyone in your group/party is accounted for, if they are missing please notify the Fire Warden. If staff aren’t there please notify them via the reception intercom

 

FLOOD:   Should there be a flood, please make your way to the EVACUATION POINT.  Please leave your belongings behind and make sure that everyone in your group/party is accounted for, if they are missing please notify the Warden at the evacuation point.

 

EARTHQUAKE: In the event of an earthquake, stay away from windows, anything that is attached to the walls i.e. shelving, bunk beds, anything on wheels as well as TV ‘s and moveable objects.

DROP, COVER, HOLD (hold your neck and head)

If the earthquake lasts for longer than a minute or is strong enough that you can’t stand, Please evacuate to higher ground immediately.

If you do not have a vehicle or are unsure, make your way to the EVACUATION POINT. Please leave your belongings behind and make sure that everyone in your group/party is accounted for, if they are missing please notify the Warden who will be waiting at the front of the park. Please be cautious and watch out for fallen or falling debris while making your way to the evacuation point.

 

TSUNAMI:  In the case of a tsunami warning the civil defence sirens will sound continuously. When you hear these please evacuate to higher ground immediately. Do not wait at the evacuation point.
